Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream is coming to Lake Elsinore, with a new location planned at 29263 Central Ave., Suite A.
The Lake Elsinore location will be the second Handel’s in Southwest Riverside County, following the company’s Temecula location.
The city said Handel’s chose Lake Elsinore because of its role as an economic hub and its business-friendly environment.
Handel’s was founded in 1945 and is known for making its ice cream fresh in each store and offering a wide selection of flavors, according to the city.
“Handel’s is a fantastic addition to Lake Elsinore and a business we know our families will enjoy,” Councilmember Steve Manos said in a city news release. “Every new business adds to the excitement and momentum building throughout our community. We look forward to welcoming Handel’s and enjoying that first scoop!”
