Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium will host a free Halloween movie night Oct. 30, with a double feature, a kids costume contest and trick-or-treat stations.
The event is part of the Flix on the Field series, which features movies shown on the stadium’s giant outfield video board with stadium sound.
Gates open at 5 p.m. The first screening will be the family-friendly movie “Hotel Transylvania” at 6:30 p.m, followed by the horror movie “Poltergeist” at about 8:30 p.m.
The event will also include Halloween decorations, themed food and drinks and an appearance by Thunder.
Admission and parking are free, and concessions will be available. Attendees can bring blankets to sit on the field or watch from the stadium stands. Food must be eaten in the stands, not on the field.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Chairs, wagons and other items with wheels are prohibited on the field, and pets are not allowed on the field.
An RSVP is encouraged for the event, but not required. Attendees can RSVP through this link.
