Seven people were transported to a local hospital following a five vehicle collision Friday afternoon in Lake Elsinore, according to CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
The collision was reported around 4:25 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 32000 block of Riverside Drive. Firefighters responding to the scene found five vehicles involved, with two sustaining major damage and three sustaining minor damage.
CAL FIRE said there were seven patients involved in the collision, all of whom were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
CAL FIRE reported that two suffered minor injuries, two suffered moderate injuries and two suffered major injuries. CAL FIRE did not report the injury severity or condition of the seventh patient.
The incident was turned over to local law enforcement for investigation.Â
