A 23-year-old Artesia woman was arrested Wednesday, July 1, after Riverside County sheriff’s deputies investigated multiple retail thefts involving more than $10,000 in beauty products, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded at about 3 p.m. July 1 to the 18000 block of Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore regarding a theft of beauty products. During the investigation, deputies learned that two additional retail locations in Riverside County had reported similar thefts earlier the same day, totaling more than $10,000.
The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team took over the investigation and identified the suspect as Alexandra Boboaca, 23, of Artesia.
Deputies located Boboaca on July 1 in the 19000 block of Grayland Avenue in Artesia, Los Angeles County. A search warrant was served at the location, where deputies recovered the stolen beauty products, authorities said.
Boboaca was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of burglary, grand theft and organized retail theft, authorities said.Â
