The Lake Elsinore Recreation Department is offering free recreational swim sessions every Wednesday in July.
Swim sessions will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lakeside High School pool, 32593 Riverside Drive. The free swim is open to the public and gives residents a chance to cool off and enjoy the pool throughout the month.

The program is part of the city’s celebration of Parks and Recreation Month. The Lake Elsinore City Council proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation month during its June 23 council meeting. This year’s theme, “The Power of Parks and Recreation,” highlights the role parks and recreation programs play in bringing communities together.
