Student Governing Board representatives from across the Lake Elsinore Unified School District were recognized during the Governing Board meeting on May 14 for their leadership and service representing student voices across campus communities.
The students recognized were Blake Humphries‑Baoloy of Elsinore High School, Kailani Mativa of Keith McCarthy Academy, Lilyann Horrigan of Lakeside High School, Aileen Bastida of Ortega High School and Heaven Hewitt of Temescal Canyon High School.
According to the district, the students regularly share updates from their schools during board meetings and help communicate student experiences, concerns and ideas with the district. District officials thanked the students for their dedication and for helping strengthen communication between students, schools and the district.
