A Menifee man was killed Wednesday in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Ortega Highway near Lake Elsinore, police said.

The coroner identified the deceased as 23-year-old Isaac Barboza. He was driving a 2012 red Honda Civic westbound on Highway 74 west of the waterfall at an unknown speed when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle went off the western roadway edge and overturned down the embankment, according to a CHP press release.

The incident occurred about 1:27 p.m. The CHP Temecula Area office issued a reminder to drivers to be mindful of speed, don’t drive distracted, and always wear a seatbelt. No other details about the crash were released.
