Families can celebrate the Halloween season with candy, costumes and decorated vehicles during the city of Lake Elsinore’s annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. along Downtown Main Street.
More than 60 decorated trunks will be set up on Main Street, where families can collect candy while dressed in their Halloween costumes. The event will also include free amusements, a DJ and a haunted house.
Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring a trick-or-treat bag.
Portions of Main Street will be closed for most of the day as the city and participating vehicles set up and prepare for the event, the city’s Recreation Department said in an Instagram post.
The annual event is expected to bring families to downtown Lake Elsinore for an evening of trick-or-treating and Halloween entertainment.
