Community members can meet local public safety personnel and take part in family-friendly activities during Lake Elsinore’s National Night Out event on Aug. 4.
The event is free and will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at McVicker Canyon Park, located at 29355 McVicker Canyon Park Road.
National Night Out is an annual community event that encourages residents to connect with law enforcement agencies and other public safety partners who serve their communities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore emergency vehicles, visit booths and take part in games and activities for all ages.
The event is hosted in partnership with the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, the city of Lake Elsinore, the city of Wildomar and the city of Canyon Lake.
Activities planned for this year include a mounted posse appearance, a DUI simulation course, dunk tank, rock wall, bubble station, free amusements and raffle prizes, according to the city.
