Temescal Canyon scored a run in the bottom of the 7th inning on Tuesday to score a 7-6 win over visiting Riverside Prep in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 5 baseball playoffs.
Tyler McClaren came up with the walk-off hit as the Titans improved their record to 18-12. They will play at Long Beach Wilson in the quarterfinals on Friday. Jake Padden went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Colby Nobel and  McClaren also had 2 hits.
Temescal Canyon used 4 pitchers. Padden, Nobel and Julian Gutierrez each gave up 2 runs.
