A motorcyclist from Menifee died Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash on Railroad Canyon Road, authorities said.
The incident occurred at 11 p.m. in the area of Railroad Canyon Road and Church Road in Lake Elsinore, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release. Arriving officers located a rider unresponsive and suffering from serious injuries. Life-saving measures were taken, but the rider succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by the Coroner as Joshua Coan, 44, of Menifee. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
