A large crowd of supporters celebrated the launch of news website elsinore247.com Saturday night at Bobber on the Lake at Launch Pointe.
Guests joined Elsinore 24/7 owners Doug and Kristen Spoon and their staff in a night that included a ribbon cutting by the Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce; entertainment by “Albert the One-Man Band”; food provided by the Bobber staff; and prizes given away in an Elsinore 24/7 drawing.
“We thank you all so much for coming out tonight,” Doug Spoon said during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “We appreciate the support and we’re here to provide the kind of news coverage you’ve been lacking.”
Doug and Kristen were presented certificates of recognition and congratulations from the City of Lake Elsinore (presented by Mayor Pro Tem Timothy Sheridan); The Chamber of Commerce; the office of County Supervisor Karen Spiegel; and the office of California Assemblywoman Natasha Johnson. City Council member Michael Carroll also atended.
